Girls on the Run Greater Boston (GOTRGB) is a positive youth development program that inspires girls in grades 3-8 to be joyful, healthy and confident through an experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running and physical activity. Since 2010, GOTRGB has empowered more than 22,000 girls to recognize and activate their limitless potential, giving them the confidence to boldly pursue their dreams.

Each season, coaches help girls build a toolbox of social-emotional skills like standing up for themselves and others, managing emotions, and intentionally choosing friends. Each lesson covers a topic through interactive games, discussions and physical activities. Over the course of the program the girls work on goal setting with their sights set on a season-ending Celebratory5K, where they move at their “happy pace” to complete the 5K.

Bring the whole family for our Kids Fun Run! Open to runners 10 years old and under, this free event invites kids to take a lap around the lawn and join in on the race day excitement. It’s all about fun, movement, and cheering them on as they cross their very own finish line. A perfect way for the youngest runners to be part of the celebration.

The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line. Join us for the post race party starting at 10am! Celebrate your run with a cold Trillium beer, grab a slice of pizza, and enjoy food from local vendors while a live DJ keeps the energy going. Stick around, hang with fellow runners, and keep the good vibes rolling.
