Dialed-Out

Brewed to celebrate our third anniversary in 2016, our Dialed series of hop-forward beers brewed with grape juice has been a staple in our lineup since. We've explored many iterations on the original Double IPA throughout the years, from collaborations with Monkish and Firestone Walker, to amped-upped Triple IPAs and "dialed-down" single versions.

Thanks in large part to the work of Jos Ruffel, Co-Founder of New Zealand's Garage Project, we're proud to offer an innovative take on these wine-beer hybrids. Featuring Phantasm, a new product created by Jos, this thiol-rich material is naturally derived from Malborough Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Also present in hops, thiols help contribute to the beautiful tropical and citrus fruit aromas in beer.

Brewed with Sauvignon Blanc grape juice, Phantasm, and hopped with Citra, Nelson, and Rakau, Dialed-Out is a display of vibrant, fruit-forward aromatics. Pouring a gorgeous sunny yellow, reminiscent of orange juice, this 8.5% Double IPA wastes no time in offering mouth-watering notes of sticky mango, juicy pineapple, and muscat grape. As the glass warms, secondary tones of candied grapefruit and gooseberry offer layered complexity. Medium-bodied and soft in its approach, Dialed-Out finishes dry and drinkable, deceptively so for its heft.
