We've long admired The Veil's Tastee lineup of "Smoothie-style" Sour Ales. Fruited to ludicrous levels and introducing confectionary elements to the mix, these beers offer a lusciously soft mouthfeel and flavor experience like no other. For our 2022 Yummee collaboration with our Richmond buds, we went purely tropical, pairing guava, lime, mango, passionfruit, and pineapple, to achieve a drinking experience reminiscent of an exotic island vacation. NOTE: This beer is dairy-free.
Yummee 2022 pours a gorgeous light amber color, leaving viscous legs on the side of the glass after a swirl. Mouthwatering aromas are immediately present, sending waves of fresh mango, ripe pineapple, and passionfruit leather across the palate. Yummee is juicy and thick on the palate, finishing sweet, with a soft acidity that concludes each sip with a delicate tartness.
