Freaky Friday is a concept created by our friends at Other Half and The Veil because, "The world is weird right now, so we thought we'd roll with it." While in-person collaborations are not an option at this time, joining the party on recipe swapping is a creative alternative.
For our third Freaky Friday release, we swapped hoppy offerings with our West Coast friends at Monkish. We took on their Triple Dry-Hopped (!!) Foggiest Window here in Canton and they brewed DDH Vicinity in LA.
Presenting a pale, deep yellow color reminiscent of our most ridiculously-hopped Double and Triple IPAs, Foggiest Window's hop bill of Citra, Nelson, and Galaxy wastes no time in attacking the palate. Aromas of juicy pineapple, sticky mango, and ruby red grapefruit fill the room as soon as the can is cracked. The palate follows with a smile-inducing blend of tropical goodness. With a mild bitter profile and a touch of sweetness in perfect balance, Foggiest Window finishes creamy, full-bodied, and hop saturated.
