East meets West with Coexistent Creatures, our latest series of hoppy offerings which brings together the refreshing bitterness and brightness of a West Coast IPA, with the mouthfeel and juicy aromatics of our signature New England style.
This new series of hybrid IPAs is an ode to establishing uniquely interconnected, yet sometimes challenging relationships with our woodland neighbors at the farm in North Stonington, Conn. Life on the farm depends on coexisting with creatures who provide essential benefits, despite the nuisance they sometimes seem to cause. Just as farmers and gardeners harmoniously combine two seemingly incompatible ideas, our brewers bring together components from these two distinctive IPA styles for the creation of something novel and exciting.
Wayward Woodchuck highlights a medley of Chinook, Rakau, and Amarillo hops. Sunflower gold in appearance with minimal haze, an aromatic blend of bright citrus, dank resin, and vibrant pine is gracefully grounded by a clean malt presence, and soft, grassy bitterness. Dry and incredibly enjoyable.
