HDHC Hop Showers

Our second Freaky Friday release with our good friends from Other Half Brewing is our take on one of their first-ever beers. Drenched with all sorts of Citra and Amarillo, HDHC Hop Showers is a full-on hop inundation. What is HDHC? In the words of the crew at OH, "We wanted to explore unnecessarily large hop additions using our new experimental hop product, Cryo and regular hop pellets. HDHC is an acronym to denote this combo and it stands for High-Density Hop Charge due to the extra high hopping rate. We are going for the biggest baddest aromatics we can, but with our combo of hop products it's as smooth as ever."

HDHC Hop Showers pours a beautifully hazy, golden yellow color. Its aroma immediately dominates the room, with super-saturated notes of citrus fruit salad, ripe pineapple chunks, and candied grapefruit. Despite the ridiculous hopping rate, it remains easy-drinking, offering a soft mouthfeel, firmly bitter profile, and piney finish that invites the next sip. This beer is a true delight for any hop head.
